Dorian Electra Concert Poster

 

In Fall 2020, Vassar’s ViCE Weekly organized a virtual concert by Dorian Electra, an innovative pop artist. I designed a poster to promote the concert with goals of making it eye-catching and conveying the type of artist Dorian is. Posters were printed and put up around campus, as well as shared on social media.

The neon green color scheme and severe serif title were inspired by the music and imagery of Dorian’s recent album ‘My Agenda’.

Title uses the typeface Restora as a base.

Following technical difficulties, the virtual concert had to be rescheduled. I created this secondary poster to promote the new date. I aimed to make it clearly connected to the previous poster, while emphasizing the date change.
